Delbert E. Ruff

Delbert E. Ruff, a resident of Chalfont, passed peacefully from this world on April 27, 2021 with his wife and daughter holding his hands. He lived a full and rich 77 years. Born in Glendive, Montana, Del joined the US Navy and traveled the world, meeting his wife Jennifer in Bermuda in 1969. Daughter Georgina completed the family in 1975 in Germany and grandson Silas followed suit in 2015. After spending 22 years in the service of this country, Del worked in the IT industry in Philadelphia, finally retiring to pursue his passion of fly-fishing. He will be greatly missed by family and friends, who will always remember his diligence, honesty, and devotion.

Services will be held at a later date at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the US Navy-Marines Corps Relief Society, www.nmcrs.org .
