Dean C. Soderberg

Dean C. Soderberg, 87, formerly of Chalfont, passed away on December 29, 2023 from complications of Parkinson's Disease. He was the loving husband of Evelyn (nee Behringer) for 64 years, proud father of Dean C., Jr. (Barbara L.) of Chalfont and Diane Horner (David) of Pipersville. Also survived by 4 grandchildren: Paige L. Soderberg, Taylor N. Soderberg, Allison J. Horner and Eric D. Horner and 1 brother Donald Soderberg (Kathy).

Dean served in the Naval reserves for 8 years, stationed in Willow Grove, being called into active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After working for Standard Pressed Steel, Quality Coach and then owning his own business from 1976-1986, he then worked for Coast Distribution, retiring in 2011.

He was a 57 year member of the Freemasons and active member of the Doylestown Lodge. He was a 30 year active member of the LuLu Shriner's in Plymouth Meeting.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday January 15, 2024 at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation Monday at the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM. Interment will be private.
