David Morgan (Street) Streetsmith, 54, passed away unexpectedly on April 14 th , 2019 at his home on Cricklewood Circle in Lansdale, PA. Born June 3 rd , 1964, in Syracuse, NY, to parents James S. Street, Sr. and Sarah (Cunningham) Street, David leaves behind two children from his marriage to Lisa (Smith) Streetsmith - Morgan and Danae, of Chalfont, PA; his mother - Sarah (Sally) Street, and stepfather - Severn P. Brown, of Canton, NY; a brother - James S. Street, Jr., of South Burlington, VT, along with his three children, Daniel, Rebecca and Robert; a sister - Anne (Street) Dean, along with her husband, Robert Dean and stepdaughter Kellie, of Indialantic, FL.
A graduate of Hugh C. Williams High School in Canton, NY, David played on the hockey team and ran cross-country. He went on to attend St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY, majoring in Geology, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. He worked in the fields of Hydrogeology and Environmental Remediation.
He will be missed by his many friends and family in Canton, NY and Lansdale, PA.
The family will be greeting friends at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 10:30 am, with words of remembrance being shared starting at 11:30.
A memorial service is also being planned in Canton, NY.
