David C. Lundquist

David C. Lundquist, 84, of Chalfont, passed away on November 8, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Camille Lundquist; his children, Sandra Smith (Brent), Richard Lundquist (Genine); his grandchildren, Kristen Lundquist, Ryan Lundquist, Dominic Smith, and Carly Smith as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.

Dave was raised in Summit NJ and moved to Chalfont in 1970 where he raised his family. He was a graduate of William & Mary College and had several careers at Prudential Insurance. He was most proud of his career as VP of Information Systems and Finance at Prudential AARP where he met life-long friends. Dave was most known for his

intelligence and creativity. Prior to his career at Prudential, Dave served in the Army National Guard as a Lieutenant.

In addition, Dave also served as a police officer for New Britain township. In addition to his many responsibilities, he enjoyed continuous learning with hobbies such as sailing, woodworking, photography, and teaching classes at Delaware Valley College.

Family was most important to him, and he considered his wife, son, daughter, and grandchildren his life.

As a father, Dave coached soccer, baseball, softball, and basketball for his children and their friends. As a grandfather, he enjoyed his time as a spectator and supporter. He was never too busy or too tired to spend time with his family.

Relatives and friends are invited to visitation and the funeral service, Friday November 15, 2024, at Scanlin McDonald Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA 18914. Visitation at 12 – 1pm and the funeral service 1pm.
