David A. Brand

David A. Brand passed on April 6, 2020 at the age of 68 after a heroic battle with lung cancer inBucks County, PA.  He was born in Toledo, OH, raised in Findlay, OH and spent the last thirty years living in Essex, CT.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara (Bobbi), son Benjamin, daughter-in-law Allison and his greatest joy, his grandson Bear.  David is the son of Arthur and Ruby Brand of Findlay, OH, both deceased.  He attended Ohio State University and graduated from Bowling Green University.

David was a self-taught designer, salesman and entrepreneur, with the Hospitality Industry being his focus.

He loved his family, human and other, with limitless capacity.  His sense of humor set him apart from the pack, with his biggest fans/captive audience being the animals he adored.  Even if you didn't laugh at his jokes, you could tell that he lived to make people happy.  Whether slicing on the golf course or slicing through the waves, you were witnessing an extraordinary man in his element.  If you needed help, he was there.  If you didn't need help, he was there.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.  David's ashes will be cast into the sea which he loved.
