Claire M. Connors

Claire M Connors, 93, of Willow Grove passed away on April 9th 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael F. Connors, her cousin Rev. John Shelley, her brothers James Finley (Mary Lou) Jack Finley, her sister in law Alice Finley, her nephew Joseph Finley (Beth) and her parents John and Marie Finley(Waldron). She is survived by her two daughters Clairemarie and Denise, her grandson Timothy M. Connors(Samantha), her great grandsons Cameron Bricker and Logan Connors, and nieces and nephews. Claire taught piano in her home for over 15yrs so that she could be there when her children came home from school. She had a huge love for animals, especially her kitty cats over the years. She loved to garden and had an amazing green thumb. She loved the fall because that meant college football season. Anyone who knew her knew her love of and devotion to the Blessed Mother, thus her love for Notre Dame football. Many times you would find her glued to the television rooting on her team. Her love for the shore has been passed down to many. Many summers were spent in Brigantine or Ocean City NJ. Relatives and Friends are invited to greet the family on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 9:00-10:30AM followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Ave, Glenside, PA. 19038. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Charities in Philadelphia or Queen of Peace Church.
