Danfield Charles (Chuck), 71, passed away on August 26, 2022 surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma and non alcoholic fatty liver disease. He is survived by his loving wife and daughter, Pam and Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Frances Danfield and his brother Kenny. Chuck grew up in Bensalem and was a graduate of Father Judge High School. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy from 1970-1974 on the Pacific Fleet off the coast of Yokosuka, Japan as yeoman. Upon discharge, he attended multiple universities, eventually graduating from Temple University. He pursued a career with the Bucks County Area Agency on Aging for 40 years as a protective service supervisor. He enjoyed protecting and improving peoples’ lives. Chuck was an avid musician, singer, and songwriter. He started his first band, the Hi-Fives, when he was a teenager. Throughout his life, he was a member of Sound Advice, Country Lane, and Exit 5. He toured locally with the bands and recorded the album Night Time Cowboy with Country Lane. Chuck retired from the bands around 2006. During one of his performances, he met his wife Pam and they have been happily married for 33 years. In 2001, they adopted their “China Doll”, Madison. Over the years, they traveled all across the country, scouting out the very best roller coasters. Chuck was a collector of roller coaster souvenir photos and hung them all throughout his work office. To commemorate his memory, his family is hosting a celebration of life and luncheon at 11 AM Sunday, September 4, 2022 at Rising Sun Inn, Telford PA 18969. The family requests guests bring a positive memory of Chuck and to share, if comfortable, at the celebration. They also ask guests to wear colorful clothes, as this is a happy reflection of Chuck’s life and to refrain from wearing stiletto heels as it will take place under a tent in grass. If there is inclimate weather, indoor accommodations are provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chuck’s name to The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or The American Liver Foundation. https://give.themmrf.org/fundraiser/4082962 https://liverfoundation.org/how-you-can-help/ways-to-give/make-a-tribute-gift/
