Catherine P. Boland

Catherine P. Boland, a resident of North Wales, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at the age of 85. Born in Philadelphia, she was the loving wife of the late Thomas F. Boland, Sr. and a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Catherine had a God-given talent for arranging flowers and an artist’s eye. A parishioner of Mary Mother of the Redeemer Parish, Catherine led efforts to decorate the church for holidays, feast days and other special occasions for 25 years. She loved serving her parish and throughout her life strived to make things special for others, particularly for those she loved. Her faith and her family were truly the center of her life. Catherine is survived by her loving children Thomas F. Boland, Jr. (Teresa), Catherine Barr (Gerald), Alice Koziel (Christopher), John Parker Boland (Amy) and Daniel J. Boland (Tina). She is also survived by her beloved eleven grandchildren Stephen, Michael, Laura, Jason, John, Rachel, Elizabeth, Matthew, Mary, Samantha and Allison and great granddaughter Mary. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass, 11:30 AM, Monday, December 13, 2021 at Mary Mother of the Redeemer Church, 1325 Upper State Road, North Wales, PA 19454 where her viewing will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery.
