Carolyn D. Williams, a resident of Lansdale Borough, passed away at Thomas Jefferson Hospital Saturday December 2, 2017. She was 77.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy Bate and wife of the late Henry F. Williams. She is survived by her sons William H. Smith (Jeanette) and Todd D. Smith (Kathleen). Also surviving are her sister Mary Ellen Miller (Edward) and three granddaughters.
Carolyn had a passion for animals her entire life. While living in Florida, she volunteered at a Doberman rescue and did undercover animal cruelty investigations. She was a devoted equestrienne and owned several horses throughout her life. In her spare time, Carolyn enjoyed dancing, target shooting and sharing wine, food and a good laugh with family and friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate her Mass 11 AM, Saturday, December 9, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA where her viewing will begin at 10 AM. Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Sebastian Riding Associates, Inc. 3589 Water Street Road, Collegeville, PA 19426.
