Barbara J. Lutz

Barbara J. (Connitt) Lutz, 89, formerly of Pennsburg, PA died April 20, 2021 in Bloomsburg, PA. She was born in Doylestown, PA to the late George H. and Ivy C. (Smith) Connitt.

She graduated from Abington High School and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pennsylvania State University. She took pleasure in her family, travel with friends and family, solving jigsaw puzzles, needlework, crocheting and reading many novels over the span of her lifetime. She was a proud and active member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pennsburg, PA for many years. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her sister, Beverly G. Connitt and brother Robert M. Connitt.

Surviving Barbara are: Carol (sister) & David Scheffler; Michael (son) & Pamela Lutz; Nancy (daughter) Nye; Douglas Lutz (son) & Emmajean Dooley; Gregory (son) & Deborah Lutz; Bruce (son) & Kimberly Lutz; and Andrew (son) & Dawn Lutz; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

A time of visitation with the family is planned for 10AM, Monday, April 26, 2021 at the Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue Chalfont, PA. The memorial service begins at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler PA.
