Arlene Toro (nee Traglia) passed away surrounded by family on Nov 6, 2022. She was born to Anthony
and Loretta (Serafine) Traglia on March 20, 1935, in Pittston, PA. She is a graduate of Pittston High
School and Lansdale School of Business.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Joseph Toro, and her children; Linda Mahoney (John),
Joanne Ziegler and Lawrence Toro (Sherry.) Grandma of seven; Brendan, Ryan and Laura Mahoney,
Courtney Ziegler Cartwright (Ryan) and Adam Ziegler, and Nicole and Joseph Toro. Great Grandma to
Charlotte Cartwright. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Arlene was a homemaker while her children attended school, then worked outside the home in payroll
and accounting with the North Penn YMCA. She was a member of Gwynedd Square Presbyterian
Church, where she served as a deacon, and a current member of Lenape Valley Church. Arlene loved
puzzles, traveling, nature and the outdoors. She was an avid reader and a wonderful cook and baker.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation from 10am to 11am on Saturday November 19, 2022, at
Lenape Valley Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., New Britain, PA. A memorial service will be held at the
church at 11am, followed by a reception at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lenape Valley Church, or a charity of your
choice.
