Antonino Famoso

Antonino Famoso, 87, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2024. “Nino” as he was affectionately known to his family and friends, was born in Linguaglossa, Sicilia. Nino is survived by his loving wife, Gina (nee Masano). He was the cherished father of Gina G. Peters (Kevin) and the late Lisa Caruso (surviving spouse, Giorgio Caruso). He was the loving grandfather of Maximilian Peters, Alexander Peters, and Sophia Caruso.

Nino worked as a tailor at Boyds in Philadelphia. He enjoyed working with people and was a master in his craft. He also loved sports and enjoyed watching his favorite Philadelphia teams.

Funeral Mass 11 AM Friday July 19, 2024 at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church 100 Broad St., Hilltown, PA 18927. Relatives and friends are invited to the Church Friday after 10 AM. Interment will follow the Mass at St. John Neumann Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
