Anton C. Crone

Anton "Tony" C. Crone, a resident of Doylestown, passed away on Jan. 20, 2019. He was 78 years old.

Born in Ridley Park, he was the son of the late Maximillian and Catherine Crone and the husband of the late Nancy Lee Crone.

Tony is survived by his children, Michael Crone, Stephen Crone (Beth) and Anton Crone (Michele). Also surviving are four grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and his sister Maureen Dorety (the late Tom).

Tony was a loving husband who cared deeply for his family. He was a kind and selfless soul who looked to help those around him. He spent a large part of his life coaching sports. The sport he loved most was baseball and spent 60 plus years playing and coaching the sport. In addition to sports, he enjoyed country music and sightseeing. He valued relationships and spent his life forming and maintaining them - whether it be family, friends or work. He will be missed by all of those he encountered throughout his life.

Friends and family are invited to attend his Memorial Service, 11 AM, Friday, January 25, 2019 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA where the greeting will begin at 10 AM. Interment will follow at St. Patrick's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org .
