Antoinette A. Kazmierczak of Doylestown, PA died peacefully on March 27, 2018 at Neshaminy Manor, Warrington. She was 96.

Born in West Rutland, VT, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sophie (Osika) Bania.

She was the loving wife of the late Stephen S. Kazmierczak whom she met during World War II while he was visiting a friend in her hometown in Vermont during leave from the Army Air Corps; they were married for 61 years. After World War II, they moved to Brooklyn, NY where they raised their family. In their later years they relocated to Doylestown, PA to be closer to family. Antoinette spent her final years at Neshaminy Manor.

Antoinette will always be remembered for putting the needs of others above her own. She was a devoted wife and loving mother; she was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with whom she had uniquely special relationships. She was also beloved by the staff and residents of Neshaminy Manor. Antoinette had the most magnificent smile! She enjoyed tending to her houseplants (even in the nursing home), loved flowers and butterflies, working on jigsaw puzzles, and cooking (especially baking) for her family.

She is survived by her children Antoinette Fidler (William) of Stoughton, MA; Dr. Stephen Kazmierczak (Janet) of Bedminster; Dr. Francis Kazmierczak (Lorraine) of Oreland; and Dr. Theresa Kazmierczak of San Antonio, TX. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Kathleen Fidler (Sean O’Connell); Julie Fidler (Thomas Nuzum); Stephen Kazmierczak (Courtney); Laura Kazmierczak (José Martinez); and Brandon Reynolds. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; Caroline and Timothy Nuzum; Anna and Charles O’Connell; and Aubrey, Hayley, and Brecken Kazmierczak; and her sister, Julia Gradziel, of Rutland, VT.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers Albert, Stanley, Walter, and Joseph Bania; sisters Mary Salengo, Victoria Stokowski, Eleanor Bania, and Stephanie Blicharz; and son-in-law Skip Reynolds.

Friends and family are invited to attend her viewings 7-9 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2018 and 11 AM-12PM Friday April 6, 2018 at Scanlin Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:30 PM, Friday, April 6 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Chapel (at cemetery), 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, PA. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery.
