Anna A. Powel

Anna A. Powel, formerly of Chalfont, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2021 at the age of 94. Anne (Born Anna Weidman) was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Geoffrey and Sarah Brown Weidman, and the widow of Gerald J. Powel, Sr.

Mrs. Powel was predeceased by her sister, Margaret V. Woodland and two brothers, Miles E. Weidman and Albert Weidman. She is survived by a step-son, Gerald J. Powel, Jr, (Winifred M. Powel) of Estero, Florida, a grandson James E. Powel (Shawna R. Powel), a Great Granddaughter, Julia Rose Powel, and a Great Grandson Jack Edward Powel, all of Downingtown. She is also survived by dear friends, Douglas and Theresa Pavone.

Mrs. Powel, a graduate of Norristown High School, Class of 1943, also formerly resided in Doylestown, Pennsylvania and was a legal secretary in Norristown for many years. She retired in 2001.

Interment will be private.
