Ann M. Mitchell

Ann Mitchell, age 88, of Chalfont, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. Ann was

born on May 29, 1934, in Rumford, Maine to the late Alice Routhier and James Olsen. She was

proceeded in death by her husband of 38 years Theodore Mitchell and her husband of 10 years

Alvin J. Fox. Ann loved being around family and enjoyed large family get-togethers. She loved

dogs, her home was rarely without one. She was an avid garage saler and most Saturday’s she

could be found scouring for her next great find. Ann was always happy to spend time at the

shore with her brother and his wife.

She is survived by her children Kelly A. Blakeslee, Robert J. Mitchell, Kathleen A. Mitchell and

Steven M. Mitchell, her 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and brother Robert Olsen

(Anna).

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, from 10-11am at Scanlin McDonald Funeral

Home, 175 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914. Funeral Service to follow immediately at

11am with interment at Whitemarsh Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations to your local

animal rescue would be appreciated.
