Albert Guenzer

Albert Guenzer passed peacefully on Easter Sunday April 4, 2021 at the age of 89. Currently of Chalfont, PA, Al was born and raised in South Philadelphia. He was the beloved husband of the late Margaret (Keating) Guenzer, son of the late August, Sr. and Anna (Garecht), brother of the late August, Jr. and the late Anne (Murphy).
Albert graduated from Southeast Catholic High School in 1949. He worked at Globe Ticket Co. prior to retirement in 1988 from the City of Philadelphia as a programmer. Al was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, as well as bowler, and enjoyed travelling with his wife.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate his Funeral Mass, Friday, April 9, 2021, 11:00 AM at St Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave. Chalfont, PA where the viewing will begin at 10 AM. Interment will be private. Contributions in his memory may be made to Greenleaf Nursing and Convalescent Home, Doylestown, or Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Dr. Suite C Fort Washington, PA.
