On Monday, May 10, 2021, Agnes Erario, a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away at the age of 89. Agnes passed peacefully and was surrounded by her family.
Born June 9, 1931 in Brooklyn, New York, Agnes was predeceased by her sister Josephine Finelli and brother Dominick Antonucci. She is survived by her three sons Leo and his wife Sandy, Chuck, and Tom, her brother Frank Antonucci and sister-in-law Rosemarie Costagliola. She is also survived by her grandchildren Chris, Danielle and her husband Dave, Anthony and his wife Nicole, Melissa and her husband TJ, Chelsea, and Joe. She is also survived by five great grandchildren Ella, Olivia, Lilyana, Maybree, and Grayson.
Agnes was a devoted wife and mother who was married to her husband Joseph for sixty-six years. She was the happiest when all of her family was together, often hosting Sunday night dinners and holiday meals around their dining table. Agnes worked full-time at Harriet Carter, volunteered as den mother for her son's cub scouts, and was the matriarch of the family, always there to offer up support and show her love.
Agnes was an active member in her local community and was a long-standing parishioner of St Jude Catholic Church, where she served as Vice President of the senior's group and always looked forward to their monthly senior luncheons. In their retirement years, Agnes and Joseph enjoyed traveling and visited most of the United States by bus with their senior group.
A celebration of Agnes' life will be held Friday, May 14 at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont, PA 18914, where a public viewing will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with a Mass to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Agnes can be made to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at www.chop.edu.
